on the surface, we don't like the same things, we don't want the same things, and we don't do the same things.
digging a little deeper though, we still love the same and haven't really changed all that much since the time we were nine.
i see vanessa about two times a year, maybe, if one of us isn't out of the country, and we talk a few times a month. despite these meager numbers and what they might suggest, however, i don't even know how to captivate her influence & inspiration & encouragement in words. i'm just thankful that we've walked through a decade together. hopefully polaroid cameras will still be around for the next few decades.
